Hit up Newman Saturday after work with no luck on tigers. Started off around the outlet and the wood logs near Cherokee landing throwing giant 12 inch shad sluggos and a retrieving a chartreuse musky killer just fast enough to spin the blade and create some vibration. Moved around to the submerged island and tried the deeper water on the east shore there around all the docks. I'm not real sure where the tigers might be this time of year. The water temp varied from 40 to 43 degrees. We tried to stay in the warmer deeper water and work any structure that popped up on the locator but no luck.
Will head back Sunday I think.
