Went down to the big lake got about 6 fish today only kept to just keeping them on the freeze I understand pcbs and all but. I have been fishing this lake since I was 10 years old. Don't eat lots of fish from this lake only keep trout here and there. Was awesome today caught all fish on bobber and worm little wait. Very seem to be wary fish at times. Was awesome caught Two nice bows and on cut from shore. A new record for me on this lake never have a caught so many in a day. Bass another story have caught tons of them all summer long. Not many largemouth though but a ton of large 5-6 pound smallies out of this lake all released except one that I got first of the year last year. Anyway don't want to tell my spot really its really common fishing area but at times bass and trout in the area I fish take finesse many anglers. Lots of pressure especially once it gets warm I still do pretty well though. Whats that addage 10 percent of fisherman catch 90 percent of the fish. Alaways seems to hold true be it salmon or bass or trout the 10 percent in the know seem to have that fishing instinct advantage over all the others throwing same thing. Chalk it up to experience I guess or knowledge of a favorite species I guess. Fish on surface in the lake near shore look for rollers be quiet and patient. There there just wary oh and scale down some
