Got to my buddies fishing dock about 6:45 this am. Fishing off the bottom. 1/8 oz weight about 4 feet up the line with two hooks bellow. 4" above the weight I put a night crawler then at the very end of the line another hook with power bait. I was fishing Chartreuse power bait. Within 5 minuets of the line being in the water had a fish on. The continued for awhile. Caught 6 trout in about an hour. They were all little stockers hitting the power bait. The 7th fish took the night crawler, fought him into the dock for about 5 minuets, got a good look at him and he was bigger than the one in the picture. He snapped my line clean. I use 4 lb. test line if that gives you any idea. A couple fish and a couple hours later, I hooked into the fatty that is in the picture. I fought him for a good 5 min trying to tire him out so he wouldn't snap my line, got him to the dock and saw he was barely hooked in the side of his lip. I grabbed for my net and landed him. All in all a great morning of fishing. 3 hours, 11 fish, one broke my line, one in the net. I'll be back in the evening to do some trolling. Fish on!!!!!

This is out of the regs you should read it (In lakes, ponds, and reservoirs: No min. size. Daily limit 5. When fishing with bait, all TROUT
(except STEELHEAD) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit
whether kept or released.) your post read like you were releasing $100 fine per fish if caught.

I neglected to mention that it was me and my wife fishing. Does it count if the fish breaks your line and is not landed because the regs aren't clear on that. I guess that is where the WDFW entraps you by not giving you all the info. Hmmm imagine that. What is the limit if you are fishing with lures? That is not stated in the regs either.

Sorry guys, also fogot to mention that when I clean trout I always open their intestines to see what they have been feeding on. The guy in the photo was the only one that I kept that day and he was packed full of snails and algea, and looked also to be worms but couldn't really tell. Also the bigger fish were taking the Night Crawlers that were closer to the bottom. The little stockers were hitting the power bait that was floating about 3 1/2 ' above the bottom.
