Well, I'm sad to say that it was a BAD day of fishing at West Medical Lake. First problem, the public dock is completely flooded and close to impossible to access. (unless you don't mind standing in 8 inches of water. I fished off next to a local who ALWAYS catches fish when I'm with him. (He uses Power Bait exclusively!) Was there from 3PM - 7:30PM. He never got a bite. I got one bite and never hooked the fish. NOBODY on shore was catching fish either on the shores or on the paid dock/boat rental place. Saw a few people come in on boats and most boats were limited to either 1-2 fish per boat. (Probably trolling) There was a rumor that things were hopping at about 10AM and some folks with bobbers were landing several fish. I tried a bobber out of total desperation...NO LUCK! Will go to Williams Lake tomorrow with my kid. Hopefully, better luck there. I think the water temps might be too cold for bait fishing...We'll see!

Would LOVE to see a report from either Williams Lake or Badger!

The water is real high but if you can find a spot on the other side of the fence from the launch with the dock at least thirty yards from the fence the fishing is usualy good with power bait, marshmellows or any thing that will float off the bottom. Yes the fishing was slow yesterday.
