Had a personal best catching 10 fish in a few hours. I know some of you serious fisherman out here do that on a semi-regular basis, but it was cool for me (Even though they stocked the living daylights out of this lake). I started trolling a wedding ring with a piece of nightcrawler and caught 4 very quickly (which I kept). Then I tried a flatfish and then a rapala with fewer strikes. Tried to go with a larger lure to see if I could target the bigger fish, but to no avail. Switched back to the wedding ring with no worm for some catch and release, then went back to the nightcrawler on the end when I was ready to take my last keeper. Please don't give me grief for keeping these. I have planned a fish fry with my family tonight and they will go to good use.
