What a day. I was planning on going to Tapps but thought my son needs to catch his first fish. We took his new "Pirates of the Caribbean" pole. Using an oldie but a goodie. Green powerbait about a foot off the bottom. We hit our limit in 10 minutes. We C&R 2 of them and kept the rest to make some smoked rainbows. I had to refresh some skills in the cooking department. I havn't smoked trout since last summer. Anyone planning on bringing the kids down,I recommend the dock to the west but any place will probably work fine. Smallest was 13 and largest was 17.
Fishing here is red hot and my boy caught his first fish....I'm so happy and so is he. AWESOME DAY ALL THE WAY!!!!!
