Got on the lake around 10:30 am and left about 4:30 pm. Water temp was 46 to 49. Started out bass fishing and didn't get a bite. Tried slow-rolling spinnerbaits, worms, jig, crankbaits. Trolled while I ate lunch with a rainbow pattern Husky Jerk and picked up a 16-inch rainbow. Trolled a while longer and back to bass fishing...nothing. Trolled on north end with a XPS blue/silver 4-ft crank and caught 3 kokanee (I think that's what they were--today was the first time I ever caught a trout); each fish about 13 or so inches. Really nice day on the water though. Would love any bass tips on this lake. Great fishing to everyone.

I don't know much about this lake never fished it. But in every lake I have fished the bass are always on the north west side of the lakes,in spring.I'm not from here but I have been up here 12 years, bass fishing and they are harder to catch for me that is in the pre spawn. I have found that small craws work and black worms and when it warms up junebug worms and plumcrazy. It's this weather! GOOD LUCK and FISH ON!

Trent. Thanks so much for the tips. I happened to fish the northwest side on Sunday. I used a grape worm on a jig head, spinners and cranks. I keep hearing the weather is a littel weird this year. I'll keep pressing and can't wait for things to turn on. Take care and great fishing to you this year.
