My friend and I got the boat in the water about 700am. We trolled the north end for about 2 hours with nothing. We were using a gold flat fish and a frog needle fish on a troll rig with small spoons. We had been popping the boat in drive then neutral. We kicked the boat in drive at idle speed and left it there. We gave the trolls about 50 pulls. That's when the fish started to hit the lines. I can't tell you how fast we where going but it was quicker than we have trolled before. I have a Volvo Penta I/O 240. We had 2 drift socks out the back to help slow us down. I hope this info helps.
