After catching one on a Mepps Rainbow colored Syclops followed by flashers, I got two fish that didn't hang to a smaller Kastmaster. Tried a Needlefish, caught one or two... but the real excitement started when I started trolling an Olive Wooly Bugger with no added weight. They loved that fly. I noticed one method that worked really well was to let the fly out around 50-65 ft., troll my little Minn Kota at 2 or 3, then cut the power and slowly reel in... it was driving them nuts... must of caught at least 10 fish within an hour or so... wasn't counting, but it was great. One thing that was notable, these little stocked fish put up a great fight... felt great on my ultra-light. The picture is of the only fish I had to keep, due to swallowing the fly. Gave it to a gentleman on a pontoon that I also shared a Wooly Bugger with. The fish were jumping everywhere all evening. Great evening of fishing on Pine Lake.
