Had a good day despite the water level down like 40' Found fish hanging on the only piece of horizontal tree in the lake, everything else is vertical and I believe the tree going in flat just is different so the fish hung out there. Just had floating line with 10' leader, like to get down to the ones hanging close to bottom or suspended, caught a few with just throwing out barely moving it and the fish hit with such intensity I didn't even need to set the hook they would just grab it take off like a missile and all I had to do was pick up on the rod tip and just haul them in, one after another all day long, moved left of the tree and above it had same luck, only had to give them something else to look at after awhile and then it was on for 15 minutes or so then switch up the fly little different size and color and wham it was on again for 15 minutes then nothing then switch and on again. Can't wait to go back hopefully the crappie and bass will be up shallower then, or I just was in the wrong place. But the trout gave me a good day, most were 12-14 in. A few 16" Catch and released them all just for you'll. Can someone tell me if the crappie and bass fishing from the far bank across from Rocky Point is any good along the far bank, heard just follow the river ditch and bounce worm in ditch and can catch crappie and bass but never tried that end of the lake. See ya on the lake or bank. Basser61
