My son and I had lots of action with small planters and ended up limiting out with those we couldn't release. Did some shoreline cleanup. Please clean up after yourselves and your animals. Its always a good idea to pack a garbage bag and leave with your stuff and a little more. Then the experience will be better for all of us. These small lakes are all we got. God is not making a lot more of them... I'd also like DFW to try a few more tactics to deal with the invasive water weeds. Many of our small lakes are getting choked out for fishing and native species to the point where summer fishing with our children and grandchildren is neigh impossible. Its a CRISIS!

Max,
I only went twice in the last three weeks for about an hour each time. No bites/no strikes. Hey, now that you have wheels are you going to try out shad fishing when the run comes in? I think you'll love it. - Regards, Pat

P.S. Don't let the WASL get you down. Make sure you keep up in your classes as I sense you are going somewhere in life Max.

Little ash lake is a great fishing spot. I've limited out there every time i've went. Good trout and catfish fishing there. I totally agree with what you said about invasive plant species and picking up your garbage. Back in the day you would never have seen any of that there. now all most all are lakes have lost it.
