Got off work early so I went fishing at West Medical with a buddy from work. We got there at about 12:30 or so. Seen some people on the dock cleaning and asked them what they were using. They told me roosters and frog colored flat fish so before I left I went inside and got a frog flatfish(by the way, if u read, thank you to who told me about what they used). So we started by trolling... nothing for about 1 hour then Seth got one. Then we trolled another hour... nothing. So we went to this spot I like, still fished with worms, and he caught another one. Then he had to go so I took him to shore. On the way to shore I caught 3 trout 2-12in and 1-15in. Let the small ones go and gave him other to take home. After that I went back out to try trolling some more. 10 min into it got 2 more fish. Kept them, then about after another hour or so of trolling I got a bite and man that fish could fight. It was actually pulling the boat faster than I was trolling. Got it in 23 inch 4lb 5 oz german brown. First brown I ever caught out of this lake. I didn't even know they were in there. Trolled about 2 more hours caught one more trout, 16 inch. Kept it and left with four fish. Great day of fishing!!!Unfortunately I got in a car wreck on the way home but don't worry the fish were fine!
