I accomplished two firsts today: Fished Munn for the first time, and used my float tube successfully for the first time. I was on the water from 2:30 to 5:30. I fished for bass for 45 minutes, pitching a senko, with no success. The rest of time I threw lures for trout; I tried five or six different spinners and spoons. Between 4:30 and 5:00 I caught and released my only two fish of the day; bows in the 9-11 inch class. Both were taken on a black rooster tail inches below the surface. I missed a third on my way in.
It was a great day on the water. The weather was pleasant and the lake was calm. Boat traffic was pretty heavy for such a tiny lake. Fishing seemed pretty slow all around, maybe a one or two stockers per rod average.
