We hit American Lake this afternoon. We got there around 4:30 and fished till about 8:00. This was the first time fishing this lake from a boat so we did a lot of investigating. We were able to catch a couple of 8" stockers as we were trolling around. We were also able to catch our first Kokanee. It was about 13". That was a lot of fun. My boys had a blast. My one some was the one who caught the Kokanee, but the other one wanted in on the picture. We were marking a ton of fish, but without downriggers it was hard to make sure we were at the right depth. (we are picking up a couple this next week)

We caught the Kokanee on a green wedding ring tipped with Maggots. The other fish were caught on a frog flat fish size f4.

The weather was windy and cold, but it was a lot of fun anyways. I am having so much fun making these memories with my kids...

fish on..
