Took my 3yr old to Bear Lake today. The water was up about 6 inches, enough to make you have to wade up above your shoes to get on the dock so we fished from shore instead. We got a couple strong bites but they would only hit once and never again until I reset the bait. No surface activity that I could see. Two young boys and a guy were getting bites from the dock using a bobber but I think they were just hitting perch from what I could hear. We gave it an hour and half then hit the playground on the other end before heading to The Ram for ice cream. We used worms with either orange glitter powerbait or procure bait butter and fished just down from the dock. I wish there was some more docks up around the lake. I think later this month or June will be better as they are supposedly stocking 2000 bows 8-12" and 100 14" or larger in May.
