Fished from 7:30 to 12:30. Released 7 planters, missed about the same amount. Caught some good action right away pulling away from the hand launch boat ramp. Switched between fishing a custom spinner and a wedding ring behind pop gear -- no bait. The bite slowed down as time went by. Trolled at 1.2-1.3 mph ground speed.

Weather was quite nice, and got better around noon. Many folks on the public dock, see photo. Not too many boats at first, but more came in in the late morning, Some algae bloom in the water, meter said 55-58 degrees, which maybe is reading too high.

Recognized KTK and got to know him a little. We trolled in side by side formation trading notes for the last two hours. Nice guy, all excited about cod fish, for some strange reason :) It was great to meet the legend.

Another successful outing in the portabote, and even saw two other boters, whom with I exchanged secret handshakes.
