Got to the lake at 6am,met up with Bigbasstaz to do some bass fishing.Started out on the ski side,after about 1/2 hour ran into bassmasterderek "nice to meet you"see ya again I'm sure.Nothing on the ski side,ventured over to the 5mph side,tried lipless crankbait,dropshot,jig/trailer,swimbait,shakeyhead -nadathing, then finally gave into the power of the senko 4" on red 2/0&3/0 gamak hook.Well to no avail they pull through again, boated a good number of fish "No big Ones" but first time the boat went out and my first bass of the year, so to me it was a spectacular day to start the season.We almost had our first double whammy.Water temp ranged from 54-61.3 @ the highest i remember.No fish were harmed in the making of this day
