Hit the lake at 10:30am, Trolling (very slow maybe 1-2mph) a green Carey Special about 10-15ft. Had immediate action( as did the osprey circling the lake) about 20-30 yards out on the eastside of the lake. Did try going deep after that but to no avail for a lunker. Caught 6 fish and had many other bites and strikes. C&R 4 and kept 2 12" Alaskan Rainbows. The weather was mild at about 55deg...Plenty of wind. only 2 others on the lake, both hunting for bass. They both left before I did. As I was leaving the water around 1:30 I saw maybe 8-10 rises from bows. Shoulda gone back out there with my floating line.

Nice job dude, keep up the good work. Good report, it's good to know Alice is still producing. How is the algea there now?

Good stuff on Alice. I hope that bloom has quieted down some cause that lake is a sweet fly lake...but fish don't grow too large in there. KTK

Ha ha, I was one of the two on the lake who were going for bass. I didn't get any bass but I ended up with a 10" rainbow trout on a size 0 spinnerbait! Funny. I also tried the center of the lake, which is about 30 ft according to the topo map and my anchor rope, using drop shot rig and plastic worms, but no avail.
