Well I caught my biggest bass ever today it was 18.5 inches, Only fish of the day but was the best day of the season so far. I was using a black single blade spinnerbait fishing the docks and shoreline. So how much would a fish this size weigh roughly my scale is broken but it did measure at 18.5 inches? Just fyi the bass in this lake are starting to sit on their beds. I seen a few on beds tried dropshotting for them but it was my first time trying this technique, any advice? And yes the fish was released to be caught another day.

If you are bed fishing try weightless plastics like a 4" Senko white is a good color for fishing beds! My guess for weight would be between 3-4 pounds NICE fish!!

When I've had success dropshotting its been a very slow retrieve. I lift the rod tip up, then let it settle. I then reel in the slack line and give the plastic some twitches (sometimes twitching/leaving it in the same spot for a minute or two if the fish are being picky). Nice largie, I'd say 3 lbs (+/- .5)
