Sammamish was very, very good these past two Saturdays(05/03/08-05/10/08) nailing both cutts and rainbows. Surface temp at 54.5 degrees. Fish ranged from 13-21 inches. Boat speed 1.6-2.1 mph. There was no certain time when they but boy did they hit all day from 06:15-15;30. I use a slinky/lead weight(about 3oz) at the end of my main line then attach a ford fender trailing a leader 36-40 inches with a orange/green combo wedding band. Believe it or not I go out 230 feet which depending on your speed and your weight will put you at about 35 to 40 feet in depth. I was very effective with this method albeit I think the overcast weather and top water(slight wind/rain) increases one's chances of catching or getting hits. I'm not going to reveal my location as it is special(I will say it is not at the inlet though). There's nothing like watching the hammer go down when these puppies hit. Very satisfying!!!!!!! With the information I've just provided you aren't guaranteed any success but at least you have a head start. ENJOY!!!!!!
