Maybe a few of our local law enforcement officers that frequent our site can "swing by" and check the situation in the near future. Kids need a little dose of reality, not the tv type, from time to time. Good report.

i was gonna break out my fiddle and start playing you a tune but i remembered, this is cottage lake and anyone who keeps a limit of those 6" trout dosent deserve it.

I agree with everything thats been said about Cottage. It is very close to my home in Woodinville and have been fishing the Lake on and off for 5 or 6 years now and the problem of the teens hanging out and trashing the place has been an issue ever since Ive been going. It is annoying and it is a shame that we continue to treat the places that offer us such serenity and natural beauty poorly. I did however have a new issue with the lake this year though which is the 6 inch trout they stocked this year..Ive been asking myself what the hell the point of that is? Why even stock with something that small? It's kind of ridiculous. Also everyone likes to use small bait like power eggs so the fish swallow them and people are forced to keep the tiny fish that they've now killed. A vicious circle..

6"....thats perfect size for my crackers!!! Last time i had that issue w some kids at a lake drinking and acting a fool while i was fishing...well lets just say that i havent seen them for a while now!!

One year someone dumped a portopotty into the lake and i also saw someone drop their phone in the water. If you use a boat and get way faraway from the docks its very peacefull.
