Late start waiting for the kiddies. Arrived at Carlisle around noon. Wind was from the southwest at about 10mph. Water temperature was 56 F.

Offloaded the 'toon and motored around the lake to do see the layout of the lake. Lots of weeds and quite a bit shallower and weedier than I expected.

Anchored in about seven feet of water, tossed around a polished silver kastmaster with no hits. Changed over to a silver and orange super duper, one hit, one hook up...but lost it at the boat. Changed to a bobber and worm fishing just above the weeds. Caught my limit of rainbows in about three and a half hours. No monsters just big enough to toss in the smoker. Left the lake at 4pm.
