Saturday was a pretty good fishing day, but it had its challenges as well. I think that the two of us caught 6 rainbows, one 17" bass, a bunch of 7" Bluegills, and about 12 Browns. All except for the Bluegills were caught on lures and most were released.
I would love to give you a pattern, but the pattern was that as soon as you found a pattern it was time to change (LOL). The fish were shy, often following offerings back to the boat just to turn at the last second, but, as you can tell, they could be caught. Often, just before we expected to see the lure coming into view, we would speed up the retrieve, triggering a strike.
I know that a couple of trollers caught fish, but I don't know how big. Our bows ranged from 6" to about 16" and our browns run from about 14" to one 25".
Not a bad day at all I'd say.
