Went Tues and fished from the boat launch without any bite but did meet another fisherman with a huge trout so I talked to him for about 1/2 hour and learned what he was doing. Went back Wed and tried his method and netted two little over 2lbs each and two fresh plants. Went back Thurs. and WOW!!! My personal best stringer for trout...
19"-3.6lb, 17"-2.2lb, 15 1/2"-1.15lb, 15 1/4"-1.6lb, 14 1/2"- 1.5lb. (I'm looking for a cord so to download the photos from my phone and will post asap!). Friday yielded 17"-2.3lb and the remainder of limit with fresh plants and Sun. caught 17 1/2"-2.10lb, 15"-1lb, and 2 fresh plants. I am now a true believer of pulling the woolly!! Rowing, 100' line out, no weight. BTW: Sunday I landed 24 fish...not a bad day I guess! Thank you to Lindsay for enlightening me to the way of the Woolly!
