We hit the lake around 2pm, fished until 8:30pm. We only managed 4 fish, all pretty little LMB. Three on a black spinnerbait, one on a black/purple Vibrashock. Tried many different colors of Vibrashocks, spinnerbaits, a few jigs and topwaters. They weren't interested in anything we had.

I did get to see a school of probably 40 small, 3-6inch LMB. That was pretty cool. They would all swim over to my thumping vibrashock, but not try to bite it. They were in 1-2 feet of water, just bunched up swimming around.

All 4 of the fish we did catch were caught in/around downed timber near the shoreline. Water temp ranged from ~71 to 74. A huge difference from the upper 50s of two weeks ago.

Overall it was a good day. Great weather and LOTS of casting practice!

I was with my Dad, in my 16 ft Bayliner bass boat. Tan/White. I saw a few guys out there, probably saw you.

I'm always willing to chat, especially if you can tell me how to catch some dang bass!
