It was a good day in many ways. Met several friends at the lake around 8:30 a.m. Lotech Joe and ruthven78 were there trying their new pontoon boats for the first time. The weather was warm, around 85 degrees and clear skies. The wind was variable all day around 10mph. The water temperature in the morning was 60 degrees and by late afternoon it had climbed to 69 degrees.
Most of the productive fishing was on the north end of the lake. The majority of the fish were near the bottom and taking a fly very slow. I was using a green Wooly Leech the entire day. Mike, Dennis and I hooked up with about 20-30 fish a piece ranging from 18"-21". All of the fish appeared to be quite healthy and fought very well.
