i arrived at about 8am and left at 2pm. i jumped into my float tube and went toward the middle of the lake to troll and cast for trout. i caught one in about 2 hrs on a lure and had several other hits. i then started trolling a fly around and just could not get the fish to hit hard enough. i then looked for some bass. i saw a couple shadows and waited around for a minute. i finally spotted a few nice ones and threw on a countdown rapala. i ran i so close to him he had to hit it! when the water cleared and the fish was landed, he measured to a nice 17 inches...i figure 5-6 lbs or so. great fish! i let him go back to his world and kicked around for a little bit more. man i have to start bringing a camera!
