bubba and i fished kellogg for the first time today. put the lizzard in the water at 1200. for the next three hours we trolled, still fished and pretty much threw the tackelbox out there trying to get some fish. we started out for trout, but tried for bass and crappie as well. after the first hour, bubba landad a really pretty 12" cutt he caught on a antique rapella plug picked up at a garage sale. it was the only fish of the day. only strike, for that matter. it warmed up nicely in the afternoon and it was a pleasant day on the water. we got good close-ups of a hawk diving in the water for fish, as well as a huge crane., but alas, no fish to speak of. we haven't seen any recent reports on here about the lake and were in the neighborhood, so figured we'd give it a try. well another one off the list, but not one we'll be coming back to soon.
