After we got beat up by the wind on potholes we fished Warden from about 12:30 - 3pm. I really didn't expect to catch much but to my surprise we did pretty well. Between the 3 of us we managed to catch 5 rainbows. They were all beautiful fish with bright red meat. They were all between 14" - 17". The trick was 5' leader a full once of lead and a gob of rainbow powerbait and cast out as far as you can.

I keep hearing about ho that lake is being over run by bullhead. I fished for about 20 min. with a blown up worm about 2' off the bottom and didn't even get a hit. I did see some carp and blue gill swim by though. Looks like the lake is doing all right to me
