6/2/2008 9:00:00 AMWhat a great report....I love this lake, I've fished it a few times for trout and it can be hit and miss....but as you've showed us, they're in there! I think all the LMB eat most of the trout fry so they're not as abundant as other lakes in the area. Good job

I haven't fished Big Lake in a number of years...even though my best friend lives on the lake. I have a lot of memories catching (small) fish all over the lake.
If it's not too much to ask, what dick nite colors seemed to be working the best?

Thanks for the comments, way cool!! Well to answer your question we took a half and half Dick Night and painted the tip of it with my wifes red fingernail polish and Wham !! that's what they wanted. Who say's womens make-up don't come in handy!!
She's already picking out some more colors for next weekend.Gotta love it.

I've never fished big Lake but don't live that far from it and want to take a shot at it and was also wondering where the shallow area of the lake is that you fished? Thanks Dan. Great job.
