Took out my grandfather and a fishing buddy of mine on Friday. We got there at 6:30 and the fishing was on fire, just as it had been for the past 2 weeks. We landed out first koke in about 3 minutes after starting fishing. Talked to a lot of boats that were still fishing way to fast for kokanee. We were mixing the types of lures we were using, and everything was priducting well. Pink wedding rings seemed to work the best. We ended up catching about 20 kokes(letting 5 of them go). The wind was blowing pretty fast, and people thought they could troll with it, needless to say they were go way to fast. Had several boats ask me what I was using, which didn't really matter on Friday, but they didn't realize that they were going way to fast. Boats were going to fast to even talk to me and they were not realizing that this was the major reason that they were not catching fish. I'm going back out tomorrow and I am hoping to see some boats going slow. Good luck and lets kill some kokes.
