We hit the lake around 4:15pm and started trolling from launch towards the state park. Wind was an issue, but as long as we kept bailing out the water that was crashing over the bow, we were ok. :) When we crossed the sandy bottom near the state park beach, we got hits almost every pass.
My first one was a rainbow, a little over 18". My second was about the same, but i lost it....(sigh). The last one I hooked into was only about 15" (rainbow), but he put up a good fight.
We were using Ford Fender (model "T") trolling gear with mixed wedding rings. I sported a "Double Whammy" red/green with double red hooks, and i was the only one to bring in any trout.
We were the only boat in view, however we did see a couple of people fishing from shore. We were trolling as slow as possible. All in all, it was a fun evening fishing.

Not Kokanee, easy to see that. Not Rainbows these are cuts. Legal limit 5 per day. Nice job, but not rainbows at all. Look at the gills under thier mouth next time, you will see the red. I can tell without seeing the red under gills.
