Just got done cleaning fish, just joined the forum, and this is my first post.

Left work a little early today and launched the boat at about 4:15pm. Took a while to catch the first one, but this was only my second time on the lake ever. The last time was about 7 years ago when I wasn't even into fishing at all.

Had my limit of trout (Rainbow, 5) at 8:15pm. All the trout I caught were right around the 11" to 12" mark. Overcast with light showers were the conditions. Water felt warmer than the air above. Saw 3 other boats on the lake at it's busiest.

I forgot to mention I was using a wooly bugger, brownish. My buddy didn't catch anything even though he was using an identical fly. My main line was flourescent green and I had clear leader, he was using flourescent green main line and leader. Trolled slow, and the ones we caught were in the middle of the lake. Depth would be a little below the surface.
