well so far this summer me and my friends have caught 5-6 muskies and a lot of smallies. all we do is troll right out the back of a canoe so just to lets u guys know, u dont need some 30,000 dallar bass boat to catch fish. its good to use rapalas and troll about 50 to 75 feet behind the boat. and all u need is 15 to 20 lb test line. nothing bigger.
so far we found out it doesn't matter if u have steel leaders on or not, because all of are muskie we catch, were not using them. and when we do, (black or shinny) we don't get any hits... so just to let u guys know.

ps. all of u guys that are coming from other cities...its nice to here that there are people getting into fishing, but the lake is getting to crowded and the fish just get scared away so don't come until winter time... that the best time to catch the muskies anyways the only problem is u have to find a boat launch..

I need to get out that canoe! Hey that picture on the right looks very familiar to one from dorfie back on 5-20-08 from this same lake? It's a great fish and needed to be shown twice I'm sure! If you only show 'em once then maybe only half the people will come from "other cities" lol!!

Sometime my sister, she show her Tiger Musky to my brother Bilo and say "You will never get this you will never get it la la la la la la." He behind his cage. He cries, he cries and everybody laughs. She goes "You never get this." But one time he break cage and he "get this" and then we all laugh.

High five!

I'm not trying to knock your report but DON'T use that thin of line. Yes,you CAN catch tigers with lighter pound line. But its easy for them to snap it,thus..the chances for killing the fish rises. I've hooked a pike on 10lb line,so I know what your talking about.

Your doing great with a canoe and trolling. Looks like you got saw nice muskies. Good luck out there

dilbert, I don't know where you came up with that comment, but, that sh*t's funny !!
I'm going to agree with kevinb , use the right equipment. Just because you can catch tigers with light line doesn't mean you should.
