Tough day, and we expected that it would be a great day.

Normally, when you have overcast, wind, and rain, Rock turns on, but Saturday it was pretty much a bust for us. Yes, we did catch several fish, if you call 8" Rainbows and Browns fish. We only caught 3 that had size to them.

I have never seen the water this cold this time of year, 53 to 55 degrees surface temp. I have never seen the water this clear, ever, period. We should be seeing a bit of algae causing the water to look almost green, and we should be seeing 60 to 65 degrees, but ............................................

I guess we did not get the memo, because I noticed that there were fewer people on the lake than we have seen this year at any time. So, here is the memo, the fishing at Rock is on hold pending stable and more normal weather.
