Went to Lake Kathleen today like I do quite often. From the boat launch I had to go all the way to the other side of the lake to fish for Trout/Bass. You can troll and catch trout and bass on the left side of the lake from the boat launch. I used a wedding ring and a worm and caught a good 10'' bass. You can catch a variety of fish in this lake but I don't think none are good eatin'. Tried a bobber and a worm still fishing just about 25 feet into and around the perimeter of the lily pads to your left on the far side of the lake opposite of the boat launch. I get a bite about every 5 min on worms and a bobber with about 2 and a 1/2 feet from the bobber to the worm. It's pretty fun if you know what your doing. Hopefully I helped. Not too long ago there were 600 fish released into it for a fishing derby so I'd try and troll the middle. The lake is 27 feet at it's deepest point but usually around 15 mostly. Lakes usually around 55 degrees.
