Got on the lake about noon. trolled a blue wedding ring with a nightcrawler and got nothing. tried a jointed rapala, got nothing. tried chartreuse wed ring, got nothing. water temp was 65 and I saw tons of fish on the finder, huge schools, but none were eating. I even marked a big fish at 95 ft. Most others were in the 30-40 ft range right on the bottom. Left about 3 with no bites at all.
One other boater on the lake had similar results.

Hmm, you didn't have sunblock on your hands when you put your worm on did you?? .....lol I haven't been there in years, I was wondering if that lake was producing any decent fish and now I know. Thanks gian

Nah, I got burt actually. I also make a point to grab a handful of dirt and rub my hands in it prior to launch. Plus towards the end I used a scent oil so everything stunk like fish oil and nightcrawlers. There was a bunch of fish there, they just didn't want to eat. I'm going to try and get back one of these evenings when it's cooler. I have caught plenty of fish in there, today just didn't happen. You should definately check that lake out.
