Ebey lake wow this lake is fun this should go under secret lakes but ill share. Access into this lake is limited if not impossible for most. Ebey is surrounded by DNR land that is 50 50 timber sales and logged. Our hike to Ebey only took 1.5 hrs and not only from the views but for the Coors fishing team the fishing made it well worth it. To come up Ebey Mt rd i don't think you can get to the lake past the home owners. Before the newest gate was put up we talked to a homeowner and if we stopped to talk to him he said we were more than welcome to walk to the lake. But now i don't know from that side. The lake is around 25' to 30' deep once you get passed the dead trees and is not to small but easily fish-able rowing with one paddle. Nothing we caught out of here was under 18'' up to 21'' and boy did they fight. I don't know how long ago this was stalked. For us any leech style fly or nymph deep killed em. Nothing was caught on top even though fish were rolling everywhere the water was boiling. On our first day in 2 hrs of sun burning and fishing we had 6 lunker shiny chrome cuts in the boat. A couple days later 2 or so hours of fishing had 5 big spotted brownish redish lunkers in the boat. Over all the days couldn't be better catching nice fish jumping a mountain full of grouse tromping through elk trails ya elk trails seeing 8 deer Ebey Mt is amazing.
