Hit Tapps this mornin'. Great day to be on the lake since it was rather on the cool side and cloudy so all the skiers stayed away. Fishing was on the slow side, but still ended up with 8 smallies. Two of them were nice quality fish, others were just small. Only caught one in deeper water. Other 7 were caught in water 1-5 feet deep, including the bigun'.

Caught all fish on the tried and true cinnamon Yamato grub rigged on the shakey head jig.

Water temp was 62-65.

Oh, also had a little run in with the sheriff. Make sure your numbers on your boat are contrasting. I thought mine were, but apparently black on silver isn't.
