The Lahontan Cutthroat (only species in the lake) are all big, strong, beautiful, and healthy. There is nothing in the world like the first four hours of June 1 at Grimes. Stay at Jameson Lake Resort - north end. The folks who run the place are fabulous. I had the very best hunk of prime rib in my life there - it was almost as big as the trout in Grimes.
