day 2 of my camping trip targeted rainbow trout again another good day on the water i was using chartreuse power bait on about 3 ft of leader and on the first cast in 3 minutes wham!! missed fish... next cast within 2 minutes fish on first of 3 nice 12 - 13 inch healthy fat rainbows. which were all caught in less than an hour i fished for about 2 hours and only 2 casts i didn't get a bite. then my 13 year old started fishing 2nd cast he got a nice 14 inch trout the biggest of the trip. also using chartreuse power bait. leader lake has yet to let me down had a great time.
