I've been wanting to give this little lake a try for a long time, so tonight I went out for about 2.5 hours in the float tube. I threw spinnerbaits and crankbaits along the structures, downed trees, 1 old dock that is on the water. Nothing happening. Then I did some casting around a worm under a bobber. At one point I threw it about three feet from shore in a brushy area, and the bobber did go down fast, but I missed the fish. Then I slow dragged a drop shot style worm along the bottom. No hits there either. Were there any other fisherman on the lake? Of course not (if you new the lake you'd understand) I did see one fish about 3-4' jump, and heard another that was def. bigger. and I did get yucked out again by some kind of water rat, I don't think it was a nutria though, more like a muskrat or something. Somebody else give this lake a try please.
