We started fishing around 8am in the channel between the two lakes.a couple small 1/2 to 1 lb bass off green spinner baits and a top water green and white frog fished through the weeds in 3 to 15 feet of water. About 10 am caught a few on the north side of north twin in the weeds. About 12 pm started fishing the south lake on the east side south of log cabin just about every cast with the top water frog got a hit, fishing any structure off the shore or pockets of weeds. Fishing a broke-back perch rapala Evan caught a nice 3 pound 'er that was cruising the shallows tossed a green spinnerbait onto the rock point by the dam and caught about a 5 pound 'er. Fished Split Rock nothing big but a lot of smaller fish. Fishing any cover,rock points and weed beds will produce bass.Twin lakes is on the Indian reservation so an $8.50 1 day permit is required which you can get from log cabin resort.The lake would hold a lot larger fish if people would practice catch and release.
