I fished Upper Goose Lake for the first time. It is a gorgeous lake with little pressure it would seem due to the half-a-mile hike to get to it. However, due to the sweltering heat and my unpreparedness (forgot my water bottle) I was only there for thirty minutes. I pitched a brown senko along the steep shoreline and caught one fish, a small largemouth bass. I hope to come back later in the season a bit better prepared.
