Just a little insight I fished this lake , with my bass boat in the water, however I did not have the motor running. I was advised by two Mason County Deputy Sherrifs that I had to take my boat out of the water. So with I complied, however being an X- police officer, and working at the Va hospital , the Sheriff of Mason County was one of our patients one day and I bounced this off of him, and he was very helpful , he gave me his Departments Sergeants Name and a copy of the regulation, you can have a motor boat in the water as long as you do not use the motor. It's clearlly spelled out in the county regulations.
