"In all waters of Lake Washington, KOKANEE/SOCKEYE less than 15" in length are KOKANEE while those
15" and over are SOCKEYE SALMON."

7/21/2008 1:34:00 PMCaskillet has it right, Lake Sammamish has the no Kokanee retention rules. If you think about it, you normally want to cull the jacks hence the typical 6 salmon limit with only 2 being adults that you find in most river regs.

7/21/2008 8:08:00 PMI thought for SURE you were wrong on this guys, but I've re-read the regs and indeed, if it's under 15" it's a Koke. And most importantly, once you define it as a Koke, it falls under the "Trout" guidelines. Learn something every day.

10/17/2009 9:31:00 PMFrom July 1st through November 30th trout in Lake Washington fall under the State's general rules which are no minimum size. This means any koke under 15" is legal to keep at this time.
