7/24/2008 8:56:00 PMthe launch by the Spokane house is actually run by the WDFW, which is apparent by its poor shape and ultra expensive launch fees. Teh DNR launch is out passed Tum Tum, and is free, and is a far, far better launch.

7/25/2008 8:14:00 AMThe launch at Spokane House is run by Wa state Parks, and is a facility handled by the Riverside State Park crew based out of Nine Mile. They have very few services there, as they have focused their efforts on the Nine Mile Resort, which they received responsibility for when the previous contract holder decided to get his summers back. Avista owns the property, and subcontracts to Parks for maintenance.
If you are wanting to fish the upriver areas, Nine Mile is the place to launch. $7 fee, but it goes to maintenance and milfoil abatement.
