Well me and my friend headed out to battle ground lake at about 9:30. We put his 12 foot raft in the water and tried out his minn kota 30lb thrust.It got us going all day long non stop. We were trolling silver spoons behind silver flashers and ford fenders. Right away i got a nice 16 inch bow, he fought hard and had great color to him. We made a few more passes on the lake with only one hook up on a small ten incher. So we decided to go back to the spot of the first fish and cast some lures, i casted out with my new red, black panther martin and BAM he hit it, i got a nice 14 incher. He put up about just as good of a fight as the 16 incher! We made a few more passes with no luck. So we headed in for the day. Overall it was a great day out on the water catching some hold overs. It was funny b/c we were the only people with fish.......there probably was some people with fish earlier though. Well i plan to hit BGL again soon but until than....TIGHT LINES EVERYONE
