Took the wife and dog for a hike and a little fishing to little Lanham lake. The hike was very fun with the only problem beeing some very thick brush which was covered with water. We got to the lake and weren't sure how the fishing would be but soon found out that the lake is chocked full of little cutts, or at least I think they were cutts. We pretty much caught a fish on every cast from the one spot we could fish near the inlet (the lake has very limited shore access) throwing a small black single hook roostertail. The fish were extremely aggressive and we would often have several fish following a hooked fish. All the fish we caught were very small, ranging from about 6" to 9" but were gorgeous and a lot of fun on my ultra light. They were all definitely at least cutthroat hybrids as they had the obvious cuts under the jaw but they were so colorful at first I thought they were goldens. Overall a great trip with a good hike, excellent views and fun fishing.
