Finally decided to take my boat to fish at Phantom lake. The lake is so close to my house but it just doesn't seem that popular.

I tried for bass with blue Gary Yamamoto worms. I got some big bites but didn't hook any of the bass in. I then switch for perch and the perch are biting. I caught 6 perch instead.

Some nice old neighbor mentioned to me on the parking lot that there are bass nest around the opening next to the first dock to the right off the public launch ramp. Maybe I will try it next time. Hopefully we will get to see more reports about this lake.
